die songs auf bat 3 sind ohne zweifel großartig!
aber ich finde das es kein würdiger bat nachfolger ist.
vorallem nach dem meat jetzt hang cool rausgebracht hat.
da ist mir erst bewusst geworden, wieviel feuer er noch im arsch hat!
also habe ich mal mein perfektes bat 3 album zusammengestellt:

Schwierig zu bewerten. Um es vorweg zu sagen: Es ist ein klasse Album. Fast ausschließlich 4/5 Sterne Nummern, aber wie so viele hatte ich gehofft, das Steinman und Meat Loaf - und nur die Beiden! - dieses Teil gemacht hätten. Der Titel "Bat out of Hell" suggeriert mir eben, dass es gleichermaßen beide Künstler sind, die gemeinsam arbeiten - und nicht Meat Loaf, der "lediglich" ein paar Songs covert.

Blind as a Bat - 5
It´s all coming back to me now - 5 (Marion Raven harmoniert klasse mit Meat)
Bad for Good - 4 (einer jener Momente, wo ich mir gewünscht hätte, Steinman wäre involviert gewesen. Der Song ist einer von Steinman's Besten, Meat singt grandios und Brian May's Solo ist nicht von schlechten Eltern - aber auf Steinman's "Bad for good" ist die Nummer einfach mitreißender)
Cry over me - 3 (mir persönlich zu schmalzig)
In the Land of the Pig - 5
Monstro - keine Wertung (als Zwischenspiel/Überleitung aber gut)
Alive - 5
If God could talk - 4
If it ain´t broke - 4 (Die Liveversionen, die Meat vor Bat 3 gespielt haben, klangen besser)
What about Love - 4
Seize the Night - 5 (Ich lieb' die Nummer)
The Future - 4
Cry to Heaven - 3

Mein perfektes Bat III Album hätte wie folgt ausgesehen:

3. - Ein Steinman Song der wirklich neu ist -

5. Totale Eclipse of the heart (im Duett mit Bonnie Tyler, alternativ Patti)
6. - Ein 2. Steinman Song, der wirklich neu ist -
7. Only when I feel / If it ain't broke breakt it
8. In the land of the pig
9. - Ein 3. Steinman Song, der wirklich neu ist - (alternativ "Making love out of nothing at all")
10. Seize the night
11. We're still the children when we were young (ein unveröffentlichter Steinman Song, der aber nur als Demo durchs Netz geistert)
12. The Future ain't what it used to be / Cry to Heaven

(Ich gehe natürlich davon aus das meine 3 imaginären neuen Steinman Songs so gut wären, wie der versammelte Rest des Albums).
(Und die Titel auf dem realen Bat-III-Album, die nicht von Steinman sind - wie bspw. "Alive" oder "The Monster..." hätten Chisb wesentlich aufgewertet!)
Ach ja, man wird ja wohl noch träumen dürfen...
