Zur Setlist in Newcastle: Ich finde die Setlist ganz gut, obwohl ich gerne I d`lie for you und Modern Girl Live gehört hätte.
Modern Girl hätte ich auch sehr gerne live gehört, da dies der Beginn meines Fan-Daseins war und ich es leider noch nie live gehört habe. Bin in Frankfurt und Oberhausen. Allerdings habe ich wenig Hoffnung, dass die Setlist geändert wird, da die Band meistens nur 1-2 Ersatzsongs einstudiert hat.
Hatte noch auf Alive und In the lands of the pigs gehofft. Break it, Givinig Tree und L.A. loosser finde ich nicht so toll. Red light als Opener ist live sicherlich sehr gut, gefolgt von lemon kommt man richtig in Schwung.

Ich meine sogenannte Maxi CD´s werden ja so gut wie garnicht mehr verkauft. Und Meat scheint ja auch mit der neuen Single mit der Zeit zu gehen, da es sie nur zum Downloaden gibt.
Aber dafür gibt es doch die eigenen Downloadcharts ????
Mediacontrol rechnet die Downloads mit ein, daher ist auch „Satellite“ von Lena M. L. schon auf Platz 1, obwohl die Maxi-CD erst rauskaum und Mediacontrol i. d. R. 2 Wochen braucht bis sie die Verkaufszahlen aus dem klassischen Einzelhandel mit einrechnen. (Hatte ich auf SWR3 gehört.) Gibt aber auch separate Download-Charts. Überlege gerade ob ich bei amazon.de stornieren sollte und bei play.com bestellen sollte? Ist zum Teil sogar billiger und auch Versandkosten frei. Wenn die in England, tatsächlich am 19ten rauskäme und in D erst am 23.4, könnte sie sogar vor dem offizielen deutschen Verkaufsstart da sein. Die normale Edition ist auf jeden Fall ein Schnäppchen, wenn auch wohl die Unterschrift nur aufgedruckt ist. Aber deswegen beide Versionen kaufen? Will undebingt die LIVE-DVD. Mit der Super-Deluxe kann ich nichts anfangen, da T-Shirt zu klein.
Übrigens haben die etwas mehr Details. Anscheined gibt es keine Live-CD, sondern nur die DVD. CD Deluxe (CD & DVD) Super Deluxe
Die Super-Deluxe scheint bei Amazon.de wesentlich günstiger zu sein, aber die listen ja zurzeit 2 Versionen für 51 € und 123 €. Dort steht auch:

Anscheinend kommt die Single erst am 2. April offiziell raus.
Was das soll? Die Leute kaufen so was doch am ehsten, wenn es gerade neu rausgekommen ist. Am 2. April kann ich auch noch bis zum 16ten warten.
Hi auf play.com gibt es ein paar mehr Details zu den vershiedenen Versionen. Anscheinend gibt es eine Live-CD bzw. DVD. Finde vor allem cool, dass mit Berlin und Hamburg auch ein paar deutsche Konzerte mitdrauf sind, da dürften einige von uns zu sehen und evtl. zu hören sein.
"Prize Fight Lover" scheint es als Zusatz-Download zu geben.

Sorry, hab keine Zeit zum übersetzen. Zum Teil (Story) sind die Infos ja auch schon gepostet worden. Aber Brian May und Steve Vai sind cool. Justin Hawkins (THE DARKNESS) weniger. Es soll aber wie ein Meat Loaf Album klingen, auch wenn es leicht anders ("neuer und frischer" -- bessere Übersetzung wohl: "moderner") klingen soll.

Regarding Roadrunner/Loud & Proud, Meat Loaf is excited about his new label digs, saying, "In my bones, I've always been a rocker and I finally found a home that rocks." Thematically, like most Meat Loaf albums, "Hang Cool Teddy Bear" has a larger concept and was inspired by a short story written by Los Angeles screenwriter, director and longtime Meat Loaf friend Kilian Kerwin.
"It's the story of a soldier," revealed Meat Loaf. "He's been in battle and he's lying face down on the ground. He can't move, but he turns his head and starts to see blood run across the ground, and so he thinks he's going to die. They always say you see your life flash backward when you're about to die. But his life flashes forward — into what possibly could happen. He sees what his life could be: the good and the bad. The songs are the different scenarios he finds himself in. It's not always the same time or the same place, but it's always the same woman. But I don't want to give too much away. I want people to work it out for themselves."
"Hang Cool Teddy Bear" features a stellar array of big-name guests, including Steve Vai (who appears on "Love is Not Real"), QUEEN guitarist Brian May (who appears on "Song of Madness" and "Love is Not Real"), "American Idol" judge Kara DioGuardi (who co-wrote and sings on "If I Can't Have You") and Hollywood star Jack Black, who duets with Meat Loaf on "Like a Rose". Additionally, English actor Hugh Laurie of TV's "House" fame has a cameo on the album, playing piano on "If I Can't Have You". The pair met after Meat Loaf guested on Laurie's hit series and discovered the star was a classically trained pianist.
For "Hang Cool Teddy Bear", the singer enlisted elite musicians, including THE DARKNESS frontman Justin Hawkins, who co-wrote two songs for the album, guitarists Tim Pierce, Paul Crook and Randy Flowers, legendary bass players Chris Chaney and Kasim Sulton, genius keyboardist Jamie Mulhoberac and one of the world's greatest rock drummers, John Micelli.
"Hang Cool Teddy Bear" is due out May 11 in the U.S.
